How to make a blogging tool an effective tool in the classroom

Blogging can provide a form of communication that can be utilized between teacher and student. This can be a tool that is incorporated into the curriculum that can assist with writing skills, discuss a topic that needs further understanding, journaling, or even just reflecting on work that is being conducted in the classroom. Whatever it may be blogging can be a huge asset inside the classroom.

Incorporating a blogging tool in my classroom would definitely be an asset. I would set up a blog that would incorporate a discussion on the particular topic that is being taught in the classroom. I would pose a question that would relate to the topic and have the students respond to the question and to other students responses. This would allow an expansion of what is being taught inside the classroom. The blog would also allowing students to ask questions about the topic and I (the teacher) would answer the students to assist with the learning process.
