I have taken a look around other blogs and I was able to get a lot of ideas. Blogging is a tool that can be used for many reason. I noticed that some of the classmates that are teachers have already created blogs for their classrooms. In particular a blog to keep parents updated about school events and class assignments.
Another thing to point out about blogs is that you really can discuss anything. Class assignments, to lesson plans, to class events, to homework, just to name a few. Blogging provides many opportunities to communicate with self and others.
